World Cup DFS: Netherlands & Ivory Coast Are Your Anchors

Thursday’s six-game slate is one of the cleaner DFS days of the group stage, and the path to a winning lineup runs through two teams: the Netherlands and Ivory Coast. Both sit around 85% to win, drawing Tunisia and Curaçao respectively, the weakest defenses in the field. Stack from either side and you’re looking at blowout potential.

At forward, Memphis Depay is the play. He’s projected to start, carries even-money odds to score, and handles penalties, a combination that gives him a higher floor than his price implies. Cody Gakpo is slightly pricier and will be overowned; Depay is the smarter GPP pivot. On the Ivory Coast side, Simon Adingra at $4,800 (+115 to score) offers one of the cheapest routes into a probable rout.

The biggest wrinkle: Germany are through and resting Musiala, Wirtz, Havertz, and Sane, which makes Ecuador, their hosts, considerably more live than the line suggests. Add a touch of Ecuador exposure and avoid paying up for German stars who likely won’t see 45 minutes.
